Movie Award Shows 2008! This is the second article in a very series at no cost TV and movie online viewing.
I recently had dinner with friends, and noticed the kids watching cable programs. My friends proudly announced they just had the "movie channels" the cable company required for basic service, but that the youngsters watched their best network series. I asked how much the cable bill set them back, and was astonished to locate they were prepared to pay nearly $400 a year for television.
In 1985, I was stationed in England in which a TV tax has to be paid to get and watch a television set. That's not a joke- it's real. If the tax isn't paid, you're fined along with the television was confiscated. If you're military, just like me, you'd even more problems. Those laws remain in force. I paid nearly $400 annually for four channels. Two independent channels and two BBC government regulated ones.
I seriously don't want to pay to look at TV again. I began researching online to find sites I could watch free movies online free, and wrote about seventeen of them. I enjoy watching movies in most genres and miss cable in any respect.
Recently, after viewing my online TV guide, I wondered if I could access the opposite networks online and view programs and films free. I found my answer. Yes.
Here are ten network sites to watch free online programs and films. Not all sites show full- length movies-yet. There are one or more thirty-second commercials over these programs. That's far fewer than on regular television. Nothing listed here requires special downloads, email addresses or memberships of any kind.
While many sites offer no movies yet, to know what the future holds? Perhaps if enough people contacted sites the network might eventually give a movie or two.
Discovery Channel
No full- length movies, but I watched instances of "The Colony," "The Deadliest Catch," and episodes from the "Animal Planet" series. There are a lot more available. I especially enjoyed clips from "Monster Animal Videos." There are truly amazing animals these days.
Many documentaries are available free of charge viewing as well. For those who are in school, this is a place to do homework research without a cable bill or renting a DVD.
Syfy
To watch movies, click on the Syfy movies link at the right side of the screen. Click the links of "Syfy Original Movies," and "Sci fi Classics" to determine the currently playing full-length feature. Syfy original movies are shown on HULU.com, confirm the site to get the movie currently playing. This site also plays several Syfy series.
There are installments of "Haven," "Warehouse 13," "Ghosthunters Academy," "Tin Man," or anything else.
This site also offers online games, including "Dark Orbit," "Ninja," "Mahjong," among others. "But wait - there's more," as television advertisers say. Syfy offers sweepstakes, phone apps, e-postcards for you an much, considerably more.

This site shows LMN network and Lifetime original movies for limited durations. The movies change every week, so check in often. The first time I visited this web site only one movie was available. Now there are nine.
Original webisodes (those shows made exclusively for online viewing) include "Street Doctors," "Mommy Madness" and much more.
CW Network
Currently no movies can be obtained, but full episodes of series such as "Moonlight," "Hellcats," "Smallville" or anything else are.
Join a forum to discuss your favorite actor/show. Get the latest photos of your selected celebrity, and observe free previews before anyone sees them on regular television.

Can you imagine that here? I don't think so.
